Home Battery Backup and Installation in Indian River and St. Lucie Counties

When a storm takes the grid down, a home battery keeps the circuits you choose running. Arman Electric installs home battery backup in Vero Beach, Sebastian, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, and the rest of Indian River and St. Lucie counties. We install batteries as standalone backup, as part of a new solar system, or added to the solar you already have.

Standalone battery backup for hurricane season

You don’t need solar to have a battery. A standalone battery charges from the grid and takes over when the power goes out. It runs quietly, with no fuel to store and nothing to start. Which circuits stay on depends on your panel and what you need to run. We check that on site before we recommend a size.

Solar battery storage with a new system

Solar panels only make power while the sun is up. Pairing them with a battery stores that power for the evening and for outages. If you’re planning solar in Indian River County or St. Lucie County, we can design the battery in from the start.

Battery backup for existing solar

If you already have panels, a battery can be added to them. We installed a Sigenergy battery on an existing solar system, so the power the panels make during the day is stored instead of sent back to the grid.

Battery or generator?

Both are backup power. A battery runs quietly on stored energy and pairs with solar. A generator runs on fuel and can keep going through a long outage. Some homes need one, and some are better off with both. We’ll tell you which fits after we see the panel and the loads.
